News: Spotless Services Acquires Machine for Airport

After winning the cleaning contract with the Brisbane Airport Corporation, Spotless have purchased three machines from “Sweepers”.

An RS500 Road Sweeper, the larger RS850 Road Sweeper and a CR1200 Nilfisk Sweeper/Scrubber.

After comprehensive trials at the airport these machines were chosen to give greater flexibility and increased productivity in the larger areas that now need constant cleaning duty cycles.

One of the first Jobs for the RS850 was cleaning the new Virgin Hanger after the recent launch function.

These machines replace the traditional forward throw sweepers. The old machines had limited hopper capacity for leaf litter which is a constant at the Airport.

With the continued expansion and building at the Brisbane Domestic and International Airports, the demand for sweeping is constant and a high priority so that the BAC can keep both terminals in a safe and clean condition.
